Because so many of my regular clients are within the outdoor, lifestyle and sporting goods industry, I'm often looking for or trying to create resources to help my work for them stand out.

For years, I've loved the typography of the 1930's and 40's and particularly liked the hand-created effect of the stretched type that the designers of some of the WPA posters put into their work. Although the net result was by no means an example of good type design principles, I wanted to use that to build a typeface that could recreate the effect for modern projects.
