In 2017, a close friend of mine decided she was done traveling and living on the road. At the time, I was looking at ways to make my own business more sustainable by reducing the waste we produced in the screen printing process. We started talking. A few weeks later, The Open Skies Trading Co. began taking shape as a fledgling apparel and gear company, dedicated to using recycled materials and supporting conservation.
